C8 have recently invested in several zero emission, electric vans as part of our carbon reduction commitment, replacing our combustion engine fleet of vehicles. Following a recent audit by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), C8 have been awarded with an approved contractor status meeting with the regulatory specification of training, demonstrating C8s commitment to conforming to the highest possible standards.
Ollie Ashworth joins the team at C8. Born in Guernsey and educated at Elizabeth College and the UK, Ollie is the newest addition to the C8 office. He comes from a mechanical engineering background, having worked previously for 8 years at a specialist manufacturing company and holding a HND in Mechanical engineering. This mechanical background has gained him a wealth of practical knowledge in design and project management, completing bespoke builds of surface finishing equipment for a range of industries, from inception to commissioning on the factory floor. Ollie is proficient and qualified in AutoCAD and has already proved his attention to detail in various exciting projects at C8. We welcome Ollie to the team.
Daikin have awarded C8 with their Premium D1+ partner status. Renowned in the industry as a mark of quality, this gives customers assurance of professionalism, training and accreditation. All Daikin products come typical with a 3-year warranty. However, D1+ Partners are offered up to 7-year warranty (subject to conditions), with this benefit being passed on to our customers.

C8 engineers have been working hard at The Grammar School on the air conditioning systems. We have been carrying out essential maintenance works to ensure that the students continue to be provided with a first class learning environment.
The international Insurance Managers, AON, have chosen C8 to carry out the fit out for their new offices at Dorey Court. Progress is going well with our engineers, plumbers and electricians on site. The project includes Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Lighting control and Door Access to make their new office a contemporary, ergonomic and efficient working environment.
Our AC engineers have been busy keeping Le Rondin School cool in the sweltering heat. Our team of engineers has been working on the air conditioning systems to enable essential roofing works to be carried out, whilst ensuring that the critical systems were maintained throughout.
Coop award C8 with 3-year contract for AC maintenance for the Coop’s entire property portfolio in Guernsey, in competitive tender exercise. The Coop were impressed by our technical ability and client portal for our job management software and excellent reporting functions. Our team of experienced and accredited air conditioning engineers will be keeping the coops assets in tip top condition to ensure the life of the equipment is maximised.
C8 have been awarded the mechanical contract in St Peter Port House in Saumarez Street. The existing old care takers flat is now being converted and extended to office facilities to match the remaining use of the building. Works includes new VRV air conditioning systems, ventilation, domestic water and replacement sanitaryware.
After a successful tender bid C8 were awarded the contract to replace the LTHW and chilled metering system within Regency Court. Working closely with property agents D2, C8 will be removing the redundant system and replacing with a new metering system consisting of mechanical flow meters linked to specially designed software capable of remote login to assist D2 in accurately billing the tenants on usage of the systems.
